Smash Burgers on Westgate Road, Newcastle

BURGER-DROP Newcastle West is at 448 Westgate Road in the West End of the city, handy for Arthur's Hill, Fenham, Elswick and Benwell. Westgate Road is one of the main roads in and out of the city centre, so it is an easy stop on the way home, and buses run along it all day.

This is the home of proper SMASH AND FRIED CHICKEN BURGERS. Our beef is freshly ground and smashed thin on the grill so the edges crisp up, then stacked in our own brioche bun. Try the Grilled Onion or the Halloumi for something simple done right, the Doner burger if you fancy a twist, or the Spicy chicken burger with Turkish chillies if you like heat. Loaded fries, wings, tenders, shakes and mocktails round it all off.
