BURGER-DROP Sunderland is at 12 Derwent Street in the city centre, a short walk from Park Lane Interchange, where the buses and the Metro meet, and from Sunderland station. It is close enough to the shops for a lunch stop and close enough to the bars for a late bite.

We are open 12:00 to 23:00 from Sunday to Thursday, and 12:00 to 02:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, so there is always somewhere to get a proper burger after a night out. You can ring the store on 0191 716 0198.

This is the home of proper SMASH AND FRIED CHICKEN BURGERS. We use freshly ground beef, smashed thin on the grill so the edges crisp, and brioche buns made to our own recipe. The Cheese is the place to start. If you want more, the Garlic Butter Mushroom and the Surf & Turf both come with two smashed Angus beef patties. On the chicken side, the Salt & Chilli Chicken and the Spicy chicken burger are the ones to beat. There are vegan burgers too, plus loaded fries, wings, tenders, shakes and mocktails.
